Thanks. That's a great article.
shareThanks for this article, matrix.
My wife and I just saw and loved this film this morning. Great film, and knowing how much was real, now, makes me appreciate it even more. I am not bothered by the fictional parts. Great to know the important facts--about the kids going to college and all, were authentic.
Thanks for the link.
Your second life is never like your first. Sometimes it's even better
Hopefully they'll just do a documentary on the History channel now to clear everything up. I like documentaries much more than I like reading articles.
shareFrom reading the article, the movie seems very accurate.
shareLet's hope the History channel does a better job than they are doing with Texas Rising.
shareThat site is pretty good.
Yeah it's all pretty ridiculous

I was just about to watch this until I found out how they screwed it up. If you have a true story leave it alone. None of the changes make the story any better.
"Whatever happened to Fay Wray?"
How do you know without watching it?
shareIf you haven't watched it yet, watch it. The movie variations are mild, IMO, and really don't take anything away from the true events.
shareI really, really hope you decided to watch this movie. It's fantastic..Whether they changed some of the story or not, it's such a wonderful movie!
shareI thought it was a very uplifting and enjoyable movie. I like that the article started out with this quote. Thanks for sharing the article, it was interesting to get the story!
It's not a documentary. It's based on a true story, but not everything's very factual, but it's still an enjoyable movie. ...I didn't do some of the things they had me doin' in there, but that's alright, that's Hollywood. We developed a program. Did I do it that way, no, but it's okay in the movie. It turned out fine. -Jim White, September 2014, PrepCalTrack.com
