Not nominated for Best Picture. Are. You. Kidding. Me.

They chose MAD MAX over this brilliant psychological film????

reply

I liked Mad Max...I guess it is not Best Pic worthy...

But even though I liked (not loved) The Martian...that is no Best Picture movie!

Inside Out did get snubbed...ish...

reply

I'm surprised about that.

I really enjoyed this movie but "brilliant psychological film"? What a silly idea.

Mad Max was original and creative and very well-made. It deserves the nomination far more than this fun but predictable movie.

Fun but predictable movie?

The message of this film is that sadness and joy must coexist together. How does that not make this film brilliant and psychological?

I think some things went over your head

reply

Sadness and joy must coexist together is a revelation to you? Seriously?

Are you 10? I honestly hope you are, for your sake.

Most teens would have worked this out without needing a "brilliant, psychological Pixar movie". Hence why it's generally known as a KIDS movie.

I'm glad you learned a new life lesson to tell your mom about. She must be proud.

Mad Max Fury Road is so thin on plot and characterization it makes Inside Out look like Inception by comparison. Even the MMFR fanboys have to acknowledge that film has little new to offer conceptually.

There are some truly shïtty people on the internet.

*beep* piles of garbage, I swear.

I know you've had a rough time.

You should visit screen junkies for who they would choose to nominate for an Oscar.

They had Inside Out & Mad Max as well as Room. Can't remember what the other two were (I think it might have been Spotlight & The Big Short).

Well I loved Mad Max as well, but definitely would have liked to see Inside Out among the nominees.

Wtf? Have you SEEN Mad Max: Fury Road? It's AMAZING! Still though, Brooklyn wasn't good. This was a fantastic movie that should've been nominated. I agree with you there. But Fury Road is a GREAT movie!
