Frank Tashlin

I didn't see one mention of director Frank Tashlin in this film. They showed scenes , but seem to credit only Jerry Lewis' contrubutions to the Tashlin directed films. Even when they mention Bugs Bunny and looney tunes, for which Tashlin first started as an animation director before becoming a live-action one, They mention Chuck Jones, not Frank Tashlin. Tashlin even as both a screenwriter and live-action director still thought in sight gags that one assocates with cartoons. One of his screenplay was comented by the director that Tashlin wrote him a cartoon, get someone to draw this. He did direct eight of Jerry's films starting with Artists and Models and ending with my favorite jerry Lewis film, The disorderly Orderly. I am very offended by this omission, then again the documentary was produced by jerry lewis himself, nuff said.

While I concur with your opinion somewhat, it was after all supposed to be about Jerry and not Frank. I too like Franks films the best of all Jerry did, he was remarkable.
