Terrible lighting
I just caught the last half of this on Lifetime. Does the entire film have the overly golden hue to it? It looked like the camera had been set for tungsten lighting in daylight.

shareIt was so orange! Why would they do that? It was distracting and made the movie look cheap. And why were her eyes so bloodshot?
shareI had recorded it and when I watched it I thought my VCR (yeah I still have one) was finally dying cause it looked very orange which made Nicole Kidmans hair look red - especially when they had the state dinner and the Red Cross Ball.
shareI noticed the bloodshot eyes too!
shareI actually loved the way the movie was filmed. The warm golden hues gave it an antique look to it kind of like how I remember my childhood summers! In some scenes with the turquoise ocean in the background it looked kind of like a vintage 1960s postcard--Just so resplendent imo
