Should She Have Told Him?

I don't believe she should have told Ayo. In my opinion, it was selfish and here's why. She says she did it out of love, which is true. But she also did it because of the shame of not bearing a child. She went into the act knowing it would destroy Ayo if he ever found out. She knew the consequences. Her confession wasn't for him. She confessed to assuage her guilt. If she was truly thinking of him, she wouldn't have told him. Or better yet, she wouldn't have done it in the first place.
