Ezio is supposed to be lending a hand to the Spanish assassins...

Unless this is in the 1470's where Ezio is barely an Assassin.

The movie's past segment is supposed to be set in 1491, between the Battle of Forli and the Bonfire of the Vanieties.

The biggest problem with society is that it refuses to believe that different opinions do exist.

I'm REALLY hoping there will, at the very least, be references to him. I think, given how far CGI has come, that they could totally get Roger Craig Smith to do performance capture for him.

There were sume rumors that an actor named Christopher Whitlow plays him in the film. Wouldn't be much surprising, cause his role is called "Assassin 1" in the cast and he looks damn similar to Ezio, if you'll watch his photos.

Nolan, I love you forever!

Could be Altair, though. Ezio and Altair have pretty much the same face.

Altaïr lived during the Crusades

True, but I was thinking some sort of flashback.
