Surprised they've renewed it. Looks horrible on a quality lcd screen(very home videoish and cgi laden) and the plot is literally all over the place and reminds me of all serial classics from the 40's-50's where every single episode ends in a cliffhanger. If you expect a cliffhanger is it really a cliffhanger? Idk. Just too old fashioned of a show compared to other tv fare done far better and with a more modern style. I'm sure some will disagree but for me it's utter garbage.

Maybe it's your TV and tastes. I think it looks fantastic on my LCD. And I find the plot and characters compelling. So, feel free to find a different show. Many of us really like it and that's why it was renewed.

I love all the scenes with the Medici in Florence and the pope in Rome. I absolutely hate every plot with Da Vinci himself in it, and his over the top inventions that he slaps together in amazing time. They should do a renaissance era show about the Medici themselves. Id watch it.

The visuals are very very good, but the script is an insult to our intelligence. And the main actor stole some moves to Faraday (LOST)please pay attention to his hands when he's having brilliant ideas.

i agree with the op, i think this show is boring and i think the actors come off as second rate knock offs. i watched all of season one and struggled to keep interest throughout.
