Showing that Muslims of Turkey were brutal, and would want anybody and everybody to embrace Islam. You think Muslims have a hollow religion or that shallow mind set for their own religion!?
I mean you want to show that Turks attacked Rome, fine. But showing that Muslims disgraced people like that, that is utter crap. Islam is the most peaceful religion. And if Turk or any other Muslim nation was to make non-Muslims convert to Islam, half of Turkey wouldn't be non-Muslim.
I am dishearted how such a nice series has become a sh*tty version of depicting Muslims like that. Like sick Homeland makers keep showing Asia (esp South Asia) as the worst place to be, in spite of the reality. Because who will go ask a Muslim or a South Asian if they aren't half as bad as the tele shows them. And they show the image of Americans and Britishers like superheroes and what all and what not. Super dishearted :/

While these episodes are BS in many ways, the Ottoman Empire invasion of Naples and their brutality is well known historically. The war was by the Ottoman Empire and they did execute those who did not convert to Islam. This was 1480. Holy Wars would continue and the Christian based Inquisition executed Jews who did not convert to Christianity.

The real BS of this episode and show in general is that they are taking far too much liberty with real history. Lorenzo De'Medici didn't die in this conflict. He lives till 1492. His wife Clarice dies in 1488. Leonardo's Father Piero lives to 1502.

Yes, because ISIS is well-known for throwing awesome desert keggers!! Let's ask the Kurdish Christians just how "peaceful" they are. Since you used "tele", I take it you are a Limey? Who was it that cut off a British soldier's head just blocks from his barracks while everyone watched and filmed it with their phones? For starters, IT'S A TV SHOW! It has many inaccuracies so this just adds to the total. Second, if you can't recognize true evil, or are too scared too, then you must have a sad existence with your only outlet being to criticize a tv show...

p.s. Not everything on tv is real or accurate

Forgot to add:
You whine about Americans always being portrayed as heroes. Well, I consider a hero to be someone willing to risk their life for another. A superhero is a hero that actually has. Remind me who stopped a terrorist armed with a rifle and knife on the train in France? 3 Limeys? 3 Frogs? 3 Belgians? No, it was 3 Americans.

BTW who was it that Vlad waged wars against? I seem to recall it included the "peaceful" Ottoman Turks. He didn't wage a one-sided brutality campaign. Yours must be a troll post because your head would be repeatedly looped through your ass otherwise.

What are talking about OP? You certainly don't know your own history. Perhaps you replaced Turkey and today's Turks (which are quite peaceful, I have to agree) for Ottoman Empire, which was the exact opposite.

Nothing peaceful about Turkey. They committed the Armenian genocide in 1915 and still to this day they deny it, not just their government, the very people of Turkey deny it. They slaughtered 1.5 million of my people and stole our sacred Mt. Ararat, the very mountain Noah was said to have landed on. They still shoot at Armenians who try and make a pilgrimage to said mountain. Nothing peaceful about any of that.

Later the Armenian genocide impressed and encouraged Hitler so much he said, "Who, after all, speaks today of the annihilation of the Armenians?" then he had his own Holocaust.

Even President Obama refuses to say the word genocide now when speaking of the event, for fear of upsetting his allies the Turks. Thus is to keep diplomatic relations and military bases in their country.

To deny history is to repeat it. This is why we gave failed to learn the lessons of the 20th century and we continue to allow eugenics and genocide in our world.

BTW, the United Stares of America came up with eugenics, they were using it as an excuse to sterilize the disabled and otherwise unwanted, this is why there was an American Nazi Party and why at one point Hitler thought the USA might be an ally.

So, Turkey denies it and the USA looks the other way, not the first time they have ignored such actions either.

That's how muslim extremists operate to this day. Today there was a terror attack in Mali. If hostages could quote the koran, they let them live [1].

This is also not the first time they did this, it's pretty much their normal MO. Read the news and overcome your prejudices!

That is right there are groups of people who CLAIMS that they are Muslims and attack villages,cities or other people and terrorize them and make them convert to Islam but tell me how many are they in total??? I think they don't pass the 100,000 member,But the Muslims in real world are more than a BILLION Muslim so that makes the terrorist about 0.1% of the total Muslims so how can you guys decide that the Muslims are terrorist.
And if the terrorist Muslims goal is to make more people be Muslims,then they wouldn't kill other Muslims in Islamic countrys like IRAQ,Syria,etc.
For me I am Muslim and my goal is to live a life without terrorist (terrorist including Muslims or non Muslims) among it.
And in my opinion the true world terrorist is ISRAEL.
