Worst plot device ever


I usually enjoy these kind of movies, lone individuals against the odds, Buried, All is Lost, Gravity, Phone Booth and alike. I cannot believe the writer considered having to wide acrank up every 3 minutes would be a good way to create tension though, he totally handicapped the movie from the get go with that baffling decision.

It was repetitive watching him crank all the time, and the gauge.

Then it didn't come to anything, as he was rescued before it ran out, or figured something else out.
