Anyone else getting tired of how dramatic movies make the military seem?!? Holy crap!

I'm tired of them too. I grew up in a military family and I'm pretty sour about that whole lifestyle. I've little desire to see yet another overly-sentimental dramatization it. Now if it was about Afghan soldiers serving their country and trying to keep their families together, that might just be interesting enough to watch.

That pretty much sums up the reasons for my sourness in 1.5 sentences. Besides, when I was growing up, the Afghaniterrarians were at war with Russia, not the USA, which further demonstrates how senseless it all is. share
