i only wish they had a different actor for Elvis. Shannon is a great actor but he doesn't look anything like Elvis. it gets distracting at times. Bruce Campbell is still the greatest choice for Elvis imo

They have people that almost look excactly like Elvis but they cannot act. This was best compromise. Although they could have used cgi to smoothen the skin of Michael Shannon.

I completely agree. This looks more like Michael Shannon playing Bruce Campbell than playing Elvis. I also wasn't completely sold on the comic bits from Shannon, who is much better playing darker characters. But Kevin Spacey is amazing here.
