The twist (Spoilers)

I thought it was a nice little twist. I knew it wasn't her because they only showed hands and feet. I was expecting Jeffrey to be the one doing all the stuff. But it was a nice little twist. That still doesn't explain the weird behavior Bess displays. Photoshopping herself with him, hitting mirrors, etc.

"What world are you living in? I don't need friends. I need fans."

Bess had a crush on him too, it was just a normal teenage crush, not a psycho crush.

I'll give them props for that. The movie actually surprised me with the twist.

Lots of us obsess about someone else much like Bess does but in a totally innocent and harmless way. Great twist though

The movie in the beginning Bess and the stalker chick are talking about Crushes and how it can be a normal crush and how it can be creepy. Thought it was a great take on the whole subject most of the time its just girl is total psycho no questions. But when you think about it the things you do for a crush can be quite creepy.

For me the twist was a little too predictable. Eventually you realize that you never actually see Bess do any of the attacks clearly (in particular the swimming scene only showing the killer from underwater). Once you figure out that Bess is a red herring, there are only three other prominent women in the movie and two get attacked themselves, leaving only one possibility, given the start of the movie makes it clear that the killer really is a woman.

That said I did like the movie. Some decent characters, and Bess being on both sides, having a crush and having a guy have a crush on her was cute. And it's hard to avoid cluing in the viewer with red herrings. One thing they might have done was add a couple more women who weren't attacked to make it harder for the viewer to zero in on the actual killer even if they figured out Bess was a red herring. But still entertaining.
