Why that douche bag?? Why not have someone with a good narrator speaking voice? I watched a Discovery show narrated by Alec Baldwin once, and he absolutely STINKS!

I thought the producers stated they liked his three previous gigs at narration, maybe the others wanted too much money, between his 30Rock, TCM's The Essentials, Radio host for the NY Philharmonic on WNYC and being a pitch man for Capital One he's probably making a decent living and can do something like this for less money than some other actor narrators.

Well if they wanted to save money they could always, I dunno, stick with the original David Attenborough narration?

The US should have David Attenborough narrating, why change someone that is epic?

his narration on frozen planet is much better than attenbourough's. Valdwin is awesome.

Ive only just found out that david doesnt narrate in the US version,i do understand why the producers would want an american to narrate the US version but as a brit thats grown up listening to davids narration im kinda aghast at the thought lol.

Why would they need an American narrator? It's not like Attenborough is hard to understand
