Tribute Lines

OK, I really like this film and believe it will be a cult film in a few years a la ROADHOUSE, GALAXY QUEST, CRY BABY, ROCKY HORROR (although not with such devoted and costumed fans attending showings!), and so forth.

I noticed after repeated viewings that some line were "tributes" to lines in other films. So, to start it out, I pick when Sam says to the killer outside the restaurant, "that hurts" when he bends his hands at the wrist.

How about another Sam (Elliott) in ROADHOUSE when he smashes the knee of the Brad Wesley gang member and says, "Damn that hurts, doesn't it?"

There are many more--who can add to this?

Finally, Anna Kendrik's line, "Number 1" sounds like either a personal ad lib that she says in her own life or something from another film I just don't know.
