Why bad reviews?
Why such low scores?

maybe all the gay sex... imdb users tend to low-vote movies about gays, blacks, you know, the usual antebellum attitude...
It's mercy, compassion and forgiveness I lack. Not rationality...
I don't mind gay sex (I'm gay myself), but I gave this movie a low score because it was pretentious and propagandist nonsense.
And yeah, the sex was completely irrelevant to the so called story.
Wish I had read the comments before sitting down with my (Greek) mum to watch this.
