Is this a prequel to Final Destination?

Its interesting that some of the later Final Destination movies also take place in a fictional town called McKinley, Pennsylvania. Isn't that ironic? Heck maybe Final Destination shows the future.....maybe they reject natural gas drilling, and are all bought out by developers anyway and become the new suburban McKinley in Final Destination, which has a speedway and a major mall. After all isn't McKinely just outside a major city? So maybe they rejected Global Energy's deal and their town was screwed over anyway and isn't a small town anymore.

So maybe this is a prequel to Final Destination.
