How much cash?

How much do you think Feldman and Haim were paid?

reply

To con everyone into watching it?

reply

looking at this film not much

reply

Do you think they took all the budget? Why would they do it?

reply

If by "Haim" you mean Corey Haim, then I would have paid real money to see this, as it would have been a genuine zombie flick, considering he's been dead for over three years.

Oh yes! I got a bit corried away. ;)

I know how much. I was in it. Edward Furlong worked on the film for 1 week and he had his return ticket paid for, he got free food and basic shelter paid for and on top of that £700 pocket money. That is all.
Feldman had the plane and shelter/food paid for. He worked 2 days on the set and got £600 pocket money for those 2 days. This shows in their performances. This film had zero budget but for some reason feldman and furlong said 'yes'.

When you say pocket money, you mean per diem, right?

Most actors get a per diem, which is basically cash given to them every day for spending money.
They get that in addition to their actual salary from the movie.

I highly doubt that Feldman and Furlong, allthough D-listers, would fly to another country and work a few days for such a tiny amount of money, it's not worth it for them.
They could get 5-10 times that kind of cash just in one day doing a signing at some horror convention where they wouldn't necessarily even need to fly to.

reply

whether you doubt it or not is beside the point. I gave you the facts. The timing of the filming played a part in their decisions to say 'yes' to filming over here in somerset, uk - they were able to get to horror conventions close by and pick up extra money there. So it could all be achieved whilst in the uk. Initial pay isn't always the motivation.

reply

also, at the time of filming, Feldman was also appearing on ITV for Dancing on Ice. So his trip to the UK wasn't just for the one job.

reply

thanks for inside information nice hearing from some one who actually worked in this. corey 600$ and Eddie 700$. horrible pay. I'm still wanting to see the movie but glad these two could make more money at local uk horror conventions

Rob Zombie is one of the greatest directors today

reply

Wow! If that's true, then they really have no career or good agents.

Not as much as the folk who wrote all those fake reviews. Even taking the "everyone has an opinion" into account, I refuse to believe, after seeing this crap, anyone sane would score it 10/10!

I'm laughing at this ..

If that's the case, and Eddie will come to the UK for that ... I will pay Eddie to star in a movie ... one with me ;)
Hahaha!

But seriously - flight tickets, food, shelter and £700 - that's crap for an actor. really crap.
But i suppose he never lost anything by doing it, he only gained - and I suppose that money helped to buy more cocaine and heroin :(
