I don't know much about this film, but when I read the description I cracked up, this must definitively be a comedy. Sounds like it's parodying all those unoriginal supernatural romance young adult books that have been turned into movie recently.
"what can man do against such reckless hate"
After reading the plot, it does sound interesting and it will for sure be a comedy. However, the title itself is a little off-putting.
