Seen at Bay City Film Fest

First, this movie is not about Guns, owning one or how someone uses one. I had the privilege, to see this movie in my home town of, Bay City Michigan, for the Hell’s Half Mile Film Fest 2013. It was screen at the Historic Bay City State Theater, with great sound, just a beautiful place to watch a movie.

I loved this movie, I stayed after to listen to the Q&A, with the director Geoff Marslett. Geoff is one laid back cat, it would have been so cool if Melissa Trieste Kelly Dunn could have been there too. I got to hang out with him and many other producers and directors over the four day event.

Any body, and I mean any body, can just walk up to him and ask him question about his film, and he’s a talker, and has no problem talking about his movie. I can tell you this because, I spend quite a bit of time with him, in all kind of places.

I seen 20 movies over 4 days, and this one lands in at, number 2 spot. This Movie is worth seeing. Geoff, made a commit, that 95% was improvise, including the use of real guns, with live ammo, this can be seen when guns are fired. It’s very real, the hole movie feels very real.

I end it with Trieste Kelly Dunn, the job she did in this film, is one you have to see, in order, to understand, the whole film is so real, but what she brings to the film, well, its everything. I can say, I’m a FAN, and will be looking for any thing she’s in, for sure.

This film is worth seeing. 4 out of 5 stars..
