John Streatfield: Nevermore on 'The Cafe'?

I caught the first episode of "The Cafe" last week, and when Richard shows up at the establishment, dressed up in a suit, he explains to Sarah that he's going to Pauline's (John's mother) funeral, and that John recently got married, and, oh yeah, that he and the beautiful Polish woman are engaged to be married. (Talk about momentous news.)

Is that the end of the Sarah/John story line or will John reappear in the (hopefully) next season of "The Cafe"?
