Did Richard still marry Eva after she reappeared?

I am so confused by the abrupt ending of series 2 finale. As Sarah questions Richard's response to Eva -- supposedly he confuses the Polish word for "I don't know" with "I do" -- are we to assume he does ultimately wed Eva? Or are we supposed to conclude from his long glance towards Sarah, and his walk back towards her, that he changes his mind?

I'm fine with either ending, I just need to know for closure's sake. Sarah always did waffle between staying at home and moving away like her father.

Yes, the Sarah/Richard/Eva romantic triangle will be one of those unresolved television story lines, sort of like the Russian gangster that Christopher and Paulie Walnuts were supposed to "terminate" (but did they really "off"?) in the New Jersey pinelands on a famous episode of "The Sopranos."

A third series would answer that question but sadly it's doesn't look like there will be one.
