Help me figure out the trash movie! ( spoilers )

I want to start by saying that I think this movie was totally terrible. As a horror/thriller/sci-fi movie freak, I became accustomed to disappointment. Seeing as how only 10% of "scary" movies in the last decade are actually good.

However this movie had to be on another level. Because even though a movie can be pretrade horribly I can at least respect the writing or the plot itself (sometimes certain stories look amazing on paper.. But hard to come to life on film.) but this...oh no. The plot was all over the place and I can't even tell you if it's harmful or not because I don't get it I completely missed it! Somewhere in between there "nonchalant" reactions to "terrifying" situations and Amanda's annoying fake screams I seem to have totally missed the big picture. (If there was one.)

This I know:
The man is obviously possessed by some type of demon. Him and his wife use "lucy" to bring people to them to kill, and especially targeting women because that man impregnates them with demon children. fine. Got that. But why?.

And what's with the shadow figures? Was it demotic? It had me thinking that at first but towards the ending I felt like it was spirits of one of the other people that they killed and was trying to help them. My portrayal was that the shadowy figure went inside Amanda to get her sick to try to get them out. And when that Hank guy died I felt like the spirit put himself inside him to get up one last time to kill that woman. I felt like it was also trying to scare them to make them run away. Seeing as thoe they had plenty of time to do so Considering the only real trouble started after the demon man and his wife came back home.

Sorry this was so long! Anyway for anyone that took the time out to read it thank you! ??

If you actually meant 'demotic', your question is very unclear. Did you mean 'demonic'? Whether they were demons/demonic or the spirits of the previously killed isn't made clear in the story. Personal interpretation could be argued either way.

After reading your 'thoe' for 'though', I decided to hazard a guess that you meant 'demonic'. Just as a side note, increasing your reading will give you a chance to familiarize yourself with words whose sounds may be becoming confused when you only hear them spoken. Though how you could get 'demotic' out of 'demonic', I'm not quite sure unless you or someone you talk with a lot has adenoid problems.

Wow seriously? Spelling police? Some people may not know English well or make typos. Making fun of them is just petty.

reply

Thank you for saying that. I always wonder about the spelling police.

Like you really didn't know what she meant? Normal people just read over typos.

Taticat's meaning was clear, and you must be an idiot if their post gave you so much to be confused about. Either that or you are just mean. Whatever, your reply was unnecessary.
