So, this TV show is really happening?
So, this TV show is really happening?
shareFrom what I can read in interviews etc, the sequel of Zombieland is scrapped, in favor of the original concept, the tv-series (presenting all the rules). I really don't believe in a 2012 release, though.

Walking dead series are so successfull so i was sure of this new zombie series which are a spin of off the huge $75 million gross of the original movie (a record for a zombie movie).
The pilot starts shooting in Atlanta, GA at the end of February.
shareAmazon just picked it up!
shareLookingt at the picture of the actors in the pilot it looks like a bad straight to dvd horror comedy.Jesse Eisenberg is replaceable but Woody Harreselson and Emma Stone are not.
shareAgreed, especially about replacing Tallahassee, Woody Harrelson is what MADE that character. Replacing him with some no name douche bag alone will create a failure of this show. They should go for a sequel instead.
shareTheir is a sequel in the works. I also find this amusing seeing is how Zombieland was originally suppose to a TV series.

10 years ago, a guy came in to audition for Joe Schmo and became our favorite actor in town.
8 years ago, we wrote the part of Tallahassee for him. The part instead went to the incomparable Woody Harrelson.
Woody exceeded our every expectation. But when we rebooted Zombieland as a TV pilot, we needed a new Tallahassee.
The part just went to the man who started it all. The brightest of diamonds in the proverbial rough. Kirk Ward. http://www.deadline.com/2013/02/kirk-ward-to-star-in-amazons-zombieland-pilot
A long-overdue thanks to Woody, who can never be replaced. And a welcome to Kirk, who will put a wonderful new spin on Tallahassee!
Our first cast was indelible. We only ask that you not pre-judge our new cast. We firmly believe that they will win your hearts.
