Snubs
Ok, I never write on boards but this is ridiculous. Extremely Loud gets a nod for best picture but Drive doesn't? Where's Tilda? And Brooks? And Fassbender? I won't be watching this years since I cannot root for anybody. You guys suck.

shareI was just thinking that myself. This wont be the first time the academy is full of *beep*
shareyep, worst list of BP nominees ever I think, haven't seen Extremely Loud yet but I'd like to also add War Horse, Tree of Life, The Help and partially The Descendants & Moneyball as also not deserving that nomination. what's wrong with Drive or Tinker Tailor?

Yeah it's *beep* I was going to fully boycott the Oscars but instead my plan is when they get to best editing if Dragon Tattoo doesn't win than I'm turning off the tv because that is unacceptable It was one of the best edited films I have seen in awhile(and don't get me started on reznor's snub.)
There was way too many fantastic movies and performances left out to make room for crap like extremely loud and the artist(which I havent seen yet but I refused to accept that it's that good. I think its only getting the praise it is because its different, but I could be wrong I will watch it at some point.)
Did you see Take Shelter? Sure it wasn't the best movie of the year but Michael Shannon was amazing in it, where is his nom? Why wasn't Meloncholia nominated for at least cinematography? Fassbender is one of the best young actors working today...come on! And I agree 100% why the *beep* was Drive snubbed for...everything! Albert Brooks for supporting, Gosling for lead, Best Score, Best Picture, hell even best director. I am fine if Drive wouldn't have won anything but it deserves to at least be nominated. As I am writing this It's getting me worked up I am going to boycott...who's with me
For me biggest snubs were Kristen Wiig for Best Actress, Elle Fanning for Best Supporting Actress, Bridesmaids for Best Picture, Winnie the Pooh for Best Animated Feature, Shailene Woodley for Best Supporting Actress (and i HATED the Descendants), Albert Brooks for Best Supporting Actor, Alan Rickman for Best Supporting Actor, Bridesmaids, Drive, Super 8, and the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo for Best Picture, Super 8 for Best Original Score, Life's a Happy Song for Best Original Song, Jason Segel for Best Adapted Screenplay, Sucker Punch for Best Visual Effects, and Emma Roberts for Best Supporting Actress (yes, I said it).
