wow. this movie looked very good. unfortunately that is where the goodness ended. death of a shadow was amazing and Asad was just great. if curfew wins, I won't be surprised but I will be extremely disappointed.

I think I've been registered on here for over a decade. It is OK if I "hate on this awesome film"?

I will also be disappointed if this wins, because I think both Henry and Death of a Shadow are more interesting films, and have higher production values. Sorry.

While I thought Asad was only OK, I'll also be disappointed if Curfew wins the Oscar. I thought Henry and Death of a Shadow were much better films.

Asad was not memorable at all, and had just plain awful performances. I know they were all non actors and actual refugees, but you still have to direct them and make it work.

Death of a Shadow was a cool world, but a lousy story in the end.

Those were actually the two WEAKEST of the bunch, not the strongest.

Henry is the strong contender to win. But I hope this one does.
