Got it, it's called Sophia So Far of Shawn Christensen. It's one of his own songs which will be released later this year

shareIt IS rather Cure-esque, isn't it? I went through and listened to every song in the credits, and the only one I couldn't find was "Sophia, So Far" by the director. Of course that's the one that I was looking for. Where is he going to release it? Anyone know? Where did you hear that it was going to be released later this year?

You are right, and I read the tread wrong. Turns out only I was looking for the other song then lol. Crazy bowling dancing scene beats every dancing scene I've ever seen,.. well perhaps Stifflers dance in American Pie: The wedding was pretty decent for that time as well
