I thought this was a really, really, really good short. It was just the right length, had the just right acting, just the right storytelling to get the whole picture. It was a message about imperfection, fate ( or chance, luck for some) family and above all, HOPE. Loved it, loved it, loved it.

I have to agree. I saw all 5 Oscar nominated short films and I think it was my favorite along with Henry.

Just watched it, and yes, during - I was struck by the similarities. Both in the story and Christianssen's aloofness.

Outstanding short.

Definitely not perfect, short or not. Overall pretty good though.

It seems the same director is remaking this into a feature length film, I wonder how will that turn out.
