Too Much Trailer
I haven't seen the movie yet, but in a way I feel like I have. I just watched the trailer for it and from the trailer I now already know that the President's plane crashes, his right-hand man is a traitor working for terrorists who is hunting him, a Finnish boy finds him and rescues him, the terrorists go looking for him in Finland, They catch him, he tries to shoot him but fails, he is locked in a box and flown in another airplane that crashes, he escapes with the kid, they try and get the plane working for backup, and then in a scene where Samuel L Jackson is shooting the same gun the right-hand man just had and he says the same line, I assume he kills the traitor, effectively freeing himself from terror. Trailers are meant to get you excited for the movie, not be an entire synopsis of it.
What do you guys think? Should trailers be less detailed?
