Asked if she has ever done a movie she later disliked, McGowan said: "Tell Tale. And there are more where that came from. It's very hard to make a film that comes together on all levels.

She said: 'I felt a little duped by Tell Tale. Blinded by Poe, as it were. Sometimes you think people have a strong vision, and it's often not the case.

Not often actors slam their yet-to-be-released films!

I must admit, I agree on the vision thing (looking at the poster). For some reason, I must've read an early write up of the synopsis which gave a different feel to the film. I'm not into seeing this too much now. I swear, also, that the cast was more 'decent' as well.
