Sad it's Canceled, but...

I am glad they were able to make that last episode a fitting finale, and didn't get it rushed like some shows (like that show Reunion from years back - seriously, that ended on a note that NOBODY knew what happened). It was a little campy obviously but again, I think it ended well enough for a one season show.

I recently read that Ellen Barkin was let go. If that is true, I would've not continued on with this show without her anyway. I enjoyed the liberal vs. conservative debates. Very funny.

I liked the show overall. But I'm assuming that the show was based of Ryan Murphy's own surrogate pregnancy. I mean, he got his son right before the show ended. I'm pretty sure Ryan Murphy didn't intend the show to last long enough, although it would have been interesting to see whether Goldie and the couple would still have a relationship after the birth.

Right, because gay men can't reproduce.

Agreed. Sad it's over, but glad that the ending was satisfying and there were no loose-ends/second-season-suggesting stuff
