Surprised that Sony didn't retitle this 'The Roommate 2'

Sony has done that in the past in order to cash-in on the popularity of one of their theatrical releases. The plot for this is different in some ways than the first one but similar enough that they could have gotten away with calling it a sequel of sorts.
