Got this off the news article link at the top of the page.

Starship Troopers: Invasion has been confirmed. And this is one sequel that may yet be half decent...

It’s been confirmed that a fourth Starship Troopers movie is on the way, which is going to be heading to our screens next year. Coincidentally, I was watching the first film just last night, and it remains a firm favourite. But then, I still get shudders about watching the first of the two crappy DVD sequels thus far, that looked like it had been filmed in someone’s garage. I understand the third movie is better, I’ve just not plucked up the courage to watch it.

There may be better news on the horizon, though. The new film, Starship Troopers: Invasion will be a CG animated production, which brings back happier memories of the TV show, Roughnecks: The Starship Troopers Chronicles.

I went to Wikipedia this morning and it has it's own page and you have a point this may be decent because it's going to be a CG film hopefully it will be just like the first one and redeem this franchise

BTW if you go to Wikipedia they already have 2 cast members you wont believe who!!!

I think it should be very cool especially the fact its CGI. Not only will it ignore the last two crappy sequals but with CGI they can do things that would be almost impossible to achieve with real life actors. I hope its in 3D also. That will be epic!

It's going to be premiered during the 2012 Comic-con and then have a straight to DVD?Blu-ray release.

don't watch the third one, it is pretty bad. they try to be "campy" and "cheesy" like in the first one but they fail to pull it off.
I really love the first movie and I really do not like the sequels. I did find the book on my Kindle, which I liked, and if I remember right, the monologue I heard on the trailer I saw is from the book. so this could be very good, and the CGI I saw of the trooper in the battle suit looked SWEET!!!
