Could they have hired worse voice actors ?

In particular "Daugherty" is the worst. So, regarding him, the answer would be "No."

The only one I liked was the explosive guy... At times he at least sounded authentic. The rest were very stiff.

I doubt it. I can't for the life of me imagine just how hideous that would be considering how utterly talentless the cast they did actually assemble is in the finished version of the film.

Can't remember his name, but the big bulky guy who constantly hit on the blonde chick, his voice did NOT match. AT ALL. He looked all gruff and you'd expect a deep voice, but his voice actor sounded wimpy and teenager-esque. Ugh.

That was Ratzass. Idk. He was my personal favorite character, so I guess I gave him a freebie. :-)

Agree with you 100%. I quite liked most of the rest of the film, but the voice acting is just god awful. If I were one of the designers/animators for the film, I'd be pissed that all my hard work was ruined by the voice over department.
