So did he tell his wife and they agree on having one day a month to “cheat”?
Seem like it .

Also ..do you think it’s gay? Lol I feel like it’s more gay for the best friend cus he was the girl in it .

one dude enjoyed being a woman and experiencing sex as a woman - but then again, he said he tried the same thing with other peeps and it wasn't the same - it's freaky.

All in all, it was pretty gay all around. This game was doing the reverse of 'cure being gay' - taking normal peeps and turning them gay - though of course, gay peeps would say, they were always gay just didn't know it.

Yes, I believe he told his wife as she gave him the box to put his ring in during his birthday; basically giving him the OK to go cheat tonight while I go do the same lol. They now have a "cheat" day on their calendar. It didn't really make sense to me as to why they stayed together. He is cheating in a virtual world that stimulates real sex and she is cheating in the real world. Eventually it's just not going to work out as someone always develops deeper feelings and it has already happened with him and his friend. However, I guess there are swingers that make it work so maybe it could for them too.

I think he is bisexual, but needs some encouragement since he seems embarrassed about it. The best friend is definitely bisexual.

Disagree. Main dude comes off as a regular straight dude manipulated/coerced/ swept up into virtual avatar sex eventually becoming addicted like a drug.

The friend is more complicated but comes off as a far gone virtual avatar sex addict who got his friend hooked. Given his choice of a female avatar would at best suggest some degree of gender identity issues on his part more than bisexuality. They both develop a weird & frankly unhealthy virtual avatar sex obsession but it's limited to that space.

Main character is completely straight which is what makes the whole theme so twisted. The friend is maybe bi and gender fluid or something like that.

It's not specifically gay when the joy is penis and vagina virtually. They tested to see if they were gay in real life and it's not the same passion they feel as virtually. I think the 2nd guy(who played as the female character) just enjoyed the high of what his friend could give in the game. When i say high...i mean related to drugs. Cocaine and Meth could get you higher than regular weed right? Imagine Sex(weed) being laced with cocaine...getting a brand new high. You won't like that you are doing cocaine but it's in there.

The story pretty much makes it clear to the audience that they're not gay for each other, but just really into the whole moment of the video game characters coming together. I'm guessing this is a game they always played together with those same characters throughout their college years, so that connection just kinda brought it together now that they had this extra technology that really allows them to be those characters.

Anyway I was quite disappointed by such a twist because I was really enjoying the beginning of it all. Seeing the two guys enter this Virtual Reality World where they could not only be in the body of these characters, but actually fully experience having such powers of what those characters in the game have, but I guess the people who created the episode figured it would need some sort of controversial twist like that to get more people to watch and talk about it.

It's definitely something some of the people from the old Playstation Home community would have loved to be able to do considering many were always on there dancing up on each other and stuff. But anyway like I said, I thought the whole idea of the technology in general was just amazing. Imagine the possibilities of other games in such a world. Sports games, Adventure, you name it. People being able to experience all sorts of stuff like never before in a world of VR.

If its all in the tech that enable them to feel that way, I m not quite convince that Karl is unable to experience anything close to what he felt with Dan.

reply

Women are going to be so screwed if this technology ever becomes real. No more leverage. ;)
