Nosedive - Lacey's elevator acquaintance

Okay, I find it hard to believe that a presumably single, forty-something woman who is obsessed with her cat would have such a high rating to the point where she could be condescending to others (like Lacey). Was it her job that gave her such importance?

Let me note that there is nothing wrong with being single, in your forties, or having a cat. But in the shallow, status- and looks-obsessed world that Nosedive takes place in, it seemed strange that a cat lady would be so well-liked.
