Series 4 is dirt

I never thought I would be disappointed for not having a panic attack

reply

Funny, but I am betting you just watched the first episode maybe?
That Star Trek take off was idiot and terrible. The rest are pretty good,
though not quite a bleak as the previous seasons which yeah, you said
it well, would give me panic attacks just watching them too.

reply

Not only that but the worst episode of Black Mirror is better than any Westworld or Game of Thrones

reply

I thought "Metalhead" was pretty awesome, kind of a mix of Terminator/Zombie Apocalypse themes, plus the killer dog robot was quite menacing. I'd be frightened terribly if something like that automation was chasing me.

The "Black Museum" was cool too.

Didn't care much for "USS Callister." Kind of sympathized with the antagonist in that one though. I'd be like TO HELL WITH ALL YOU, if I was treated with such disrespect at a freaking company that I helped found and based on a product I freaking created. Just saying, the guy had a reason to act the way he did, even if he was a bit of a creep.

reply

Huh? What does a panic attack have to do with anything?

reply

I don't think they know what a panic attack is like. If they'd had one, they wouldn't compare it to watching a TV show, that's for sure! Black Mirror can give me a little anxiety at times, but it's always mixed with excitement. It's still a good show but the concepts are becoming somewhat contrived.

I enjoyed HANG THE DJ, but the rest, didn't hold up to the past

reply

It was okay although not as good as Season 3 for me.

I was disappointed that in Black Museum with the woman that was sharing the guys brain. I thought it would end up that he would die and the woman would remain alive having to feel him rot and decay in the ground. That would be a better end than being stuck in a teddy imo.

reply

The best ending for that woman would be for her to be allowed to die. I can't imagine a more horrifying existence than for one's consciousness to be trapped in something forever.

reply

I respectfully disagree. I think it was excellent, and can hardly wait for a fifth season.

Metalhead was a lot of fun. Atmospheric. Immersive. Chilling and scary, and great use of black and white footage. USS Callister was okay, even though most of it was virtual. Arkangel, disturbing, but eerily realistic. Hang the DJ, fun and great acting here, and for some reason I thought the girl was Charlotte on Westworld.

Black Museum....... probably the weakest, yet very disturbing at the same time.

Looking forward to more either way.
