White Christmas spoiler #2

Matt ends up being blocked by everyone, as punishment. In his last scene, you see a seller in the marketplace, noticing his red "image," and holding a snow globe in his hand, and looking somewhat menacing. Are we to assume that this person might kill Matt? (Sex offenders are often stalked by citizens, via handy online links to names and addresses. In the "Mirror" world, various criminals can't hide, ever, in public. IF they are universally blocked.)

That's a very good observation. I'll take it. That's already my favorite episode of the series.

I agree, I think this easily made him target and a definite "outsider" from society. As punishments go, I feel like this was one of the worse, it made him a "marked man".

I wonder if he even knew that he was marked as red. However, I would assume that other criminals had been treated the same way in the past, so he knew what to expect.

I wonder if "blocked" people can actually be touched?

I like to think that Matt's punishment of being blocked by everybody was only temporary. Maybe a couple of weeks at most. I can't imagine cutting off access to every human being on the planet for the rest of your life is a fair punishment for running a risqué business and failing to report a murder. But I guess that fits with the theme of the episode.
