Most Jaw Dopping Moments (Spoilers)

I have found that this show has left me feeling completely heartbroken or devestated or even jaw dropped throughout its episodes. I thought it would be interesting to hear what moments left an impact on you?

In "The Entire History of You" I felt Liam's pain so deeply before he removed his grain, when he was reliving moments with his wife and baby.

White Christmas ending. When he had to stay in limbo for eternity. He's still there now just going over and over. That is my idea of hell, cold turkey on heroin over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and overover and over and over and over and over and over and over over and over and over and over and over and over and over and overover and over and over and over and over and over and over over and over and over and over and over and over and over and overover and over and over and over and over and over and overover and over and over and over and over and over and over and overover and over and over and over and over and over and overover and over and over and over and over and over and over and overover and over and over and over and over and over and overover and over and over and over and over and over and over and overover and over and over and over and over and over and over

plus that song is terrible

I felt the reveal with the daughter at the end was the most devastating part. All those years trying to reclaim his family (and the meaning of his life)through his lost daughter... And yeah you saw what happened.

reply

Yes, that is the very definition of hell. Also the bad guy in Black Museum is also in hell.

Th twist in White Bear.

reply

Yep. That was particularly grim and cruel.

I agree with you on the Entire History of You. I thought the guy was overly paranoid about his wife, but when you find out he was right it just hits you like a ton of bricks.

as far as jaw-dropping moments, I had one or two in White Bear and White Christmas, in Shut Up and Dance - the revelation he was looking at kids..

for me, Hated In The Nation probably brought the biggest one though - towards the end when the music begins and the hives of bees start heading out to kill 380,000+ people..

reply

Yeah, that had to be THE jaw dropping moment of the entire series. 387,000 people being killed by that asshole.

men against fire, didnt expect that kind of blatant frontal nudity and it lasted quite a while too.

The twist in Shut up and Dance that Kenny was a monster himself was really shocking

jerking off to kiddie porn = monster really? As long as he restrain himself from acting out his impulse hes as bad as those that does.

reply

superharry, do you know how much child porn stars are paid?

Nothing, because it's a *beep* sick industry that abuses them. Yes, jerking off to kiddie porn is just as bad as committing the crime because demand will always need a supply. You can't enjoy ivory and claim to be an elephant lover.

Jerking off to thoughts in your head on the other hand is fine, if still a socially unacceptable desire to have.

The National Anthem is probably the most well known episode amongst people I know. When I tell tell people about Black Mirror I say start with that episode and if you don't like it you most likely won't like any of the others.

Shut up And Dance was probably the most jaw dropping episode for me. I kept wondering why that kid would go SOOO far out of his way to cover up that he jerked off to some porn on the internet, but then the unexpected came and I by no means saw it coming, so I was floored and it stayed with me for the rest of the day.

National Anthem is one of my least favourite episodes. I was so glad that I liked the rest of the first season. I'm glad that it's on Netflix now and you can just watch whichever episode you want.

reply

I've only seen seasons 1 and 2 so this may change, but so far the two most jaw-dropping for me have been the ending of "White Bear" and the ending of "White Christmas." Those episodes left me shattered.
