Why hasn't this movie been released on DVD yet?

I find it quite curious that a movie which purports to spill the beans as it where on all of us so willingly handing over our personal information has yet to find its way onto DVD itself. So what's the deal here? Does some nameless corporation not want a wider audience to view this film? Think about it it, most movies appear on DVD at least 6-8 weeks after they finish their theatrical run. This movie is currently well over a year and a half out of its theatrical run and yet still no DVD is mentioned. Heck there's not even a mention of a potential release date coming down the pipeline at all. So this leads me to believe that somebody somewhere or a very large "nameless corporation"doesn't want this movie to ever see the light of day. Personally from what I've seen or heard about the movie all of us are guilty of not reading the fine print when it comes to a software update because we're all too name busy and none of us speak "legalese" anyway. So we blindlessly hit the "agree" button and move on with the tasks at hand due to sheer laziness on our part. Yes this movie is still available for instant streaming via Amazon & iTunes and i am sure others as well but that's not the point here.
So does anyone have a clue as to why this somewhat controversial Documentary has yet to be released on DVD yet because by all accounts its way past due!
