Great show!
Just caught this on Netflix and watched the entire series back to back. My only complaint was that it was over in 6 episodes. I really hope they do a season 2.
shareHey sandrock - yeah I did exactly the same thing! Saw it on a bored day, on Netflix, thought I'd try an episode while I waited for something to come on TV and then sat through all 6 back-to-back!
I liked it so much I'm now rewatching it, this time with my girlfriend. There's some great characters in it. They're the driving force really, reminiscent of Strays.....
It's about bouncers so it can't be realistic and be as exciting and racey as say The Shield, but it has exciting bits, it is interesting and it gets the human factor, the characters flesh out in a very very short space of time, each one revealing their front and their internal side. There's a certain duality to almost everyone in it.
I think it's a great production, with characters you want to see again, and I think there's so much scope to grow outside of these 6 episodes. I was going to say that I'm not sure it could sustain 50 minute episodes, but actually it definitely could. And the format (each episode taking three scenes, independantly written and directed) would actually lend itself better to a longer timeframe.
So in short, I really hope this gets some sort of greenlight from someone. You've done it before Vin! But my suspicion is that it will not. And that's a shame.
