mike

I thought they were all good with him now but there was no mention of him...and why was jionni sitting in the background at another table?

reply

Jionni and Snooki were both taking turns in the back holding Lorenzo out of the noise range. As for Mike, who knows? Episode was better without him.

If Mike was excluded, that would ironic. Without him, none of them would have been rich and famous. There would be no Snooki & Jwoww spinoff either. Mike made Jersey Shore the hit it became.

reply

Not really, look at their history with him. And also, Nicole was just as popular as him on the show. I think she and Mike made the most money. I see no reason they would invite him. I think he burned the bridges with them. And given what happened with him and Nicole (she can deny all she wants, it happened. ) I see why they didn't invite him. That would be hella awkward.

well regardless. I still see no reason why Mike would be there at the surprise shower. Especially since Jionni is still uncomfortable (as he said himself that episode, hes still hurt by it) with what happened with Mike and Nicole. And Nicole herself has said very recently that she hasnt talked to Mike in quite a while. I mean yeah, its sad that one of their roommates wasnt involved, but thats life. Sometimes people just drift apart. BUT I am just speculating. I dont actually know their reasoning or any of their relationships with Mike, I can just understand why he might not have been invited.

Didn't Snooki forgive Mike for telling Jionni about their alleged hookup.? It seems like she's still holding a grudge. Vinny hooked up with Snooki and made jokes about being the father of Snooki's baby but Jionni got over that. It's like Snooki is still not satisfied and won't talk to Mike unless he says publicly that nothing happened. If something went down, then that's absurd. The party was supposed to be for Jenni and Roger anyway, not Snooki. If nobody else wanted Mike there, then that's messed up. Who did most of the house cooking throughout Jersey Shore's run? It was Mike. Ungrateful jerks!

Snooki is all buddy-buddy with Vinny, but Vinny showed no interest in Snooki romantically until after she got popular. Hooking up with her made him relevant. Mike, at least, made out with Snooki in the hot tub before they got famous. Snooki is so oblivious.

Snooki may have been as popular as Mike, but no one could carry a storyline like Mike could on Jersey Shore. Snooki and Jwoww's spinoff is so dry, just like Pauly's was. Vinny's show will be the next to tank. Mike was the main ingredient to Jersey' Shore's successful run.

Like I said, I dont know what really happened or why. This is just my guess and could understand whatever reason they had. No one but them know why he wasnt invited. And we dont know what wasn't aired. So, we dont know anything. Just pure speculation. Its not like they even talked about his not being there. Which in a way, is kind of weird seeing how he was the only one NOT there. But I agree, it was also probably awkward, for at least Jionni, to have Vinny there.

I used to think Vinny and Snooki's romance storyline was scripted to shoehorn Vinny into the show more, but now I don't think so. I remember Snooki crying when Vinny banged that Dominican chick during Season Three. Unless, Snooki has some Meryl Streep-like acting skills, I don't think their storyline was scripted.

During Season 1, Ronnie was on Snooki's radar, but she tried to hook up with all of the guys that same very first day on the Shore. From that point, Vinny could made his move but he didn't. Why? Because he wasn't interested in her. Mike, Nicole, and Pauly became the breakout stars after Season One was filmed. Before, MVP, it was MNP. Those three breakout stars landed guest spots with Jimmy Kimmel, George Lopez, Chelsea Handler, and they were even interviewed by Ashton Kutcher. Somehow, Jwoww joined up with them and started getting guest spots with them as well. I'm sure Vinny wanted a piece of the action and hooking up with Snooki became his segue into the limelight.
