Clint Eastwood movie cliche checklist game

Not hating--I liked this movie. But I had to play along on the home game:

Rigidly inflexible crusty curmudgeon loner old man - check

Family dysfunctionality - check

Disdain for modern technology!!! - check

Classic '60's/'70's American cars - check

Abominably bad diet for old man - check

Bar fight - check

Buddy chat scenes with questionable pop culture references - check

Enchanted pixie lawyer daughter girl to offer opportunity for redemption - (well, that's a new one...)

Straw Bermuda hats - (oops, that was another old guy who looked like him)

Cigar - check

Small-town America and its positive effect on miscreant big-city types - check

Bernie Carbo as an answer to a trivia question - (OK, that was cool!)

Supporting cast acting around him like Gene Kelly dancing around a mop - check

Big emotional payoff - check

Pixie lawyer daughter girl is not a new one. He already used that in Absolute Power, remember? So this movie hits all the cliches! Ding ding ding!

I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

As you can probably tell from my sig, I am a great admirer of Eastwood's body of work.

Until this one.

Just 23 minutes into it, and I had to pause just to open up my laptop to see if anyone else on IMDB caught this, cause I was afraid for a second that it was just the weed.

Glad to see I wasn't missing something. :-)

The line I cut myself shaving. Clint uses that line everytime he has a visable cut or bruise on his face.
