Much better than the negative reviews

They seem all upset that the film is about something so trite as water rights. I guess they've all lived pampered lives and have no idea that nearly half the world does not have clean water, AND the the US is rapidly losing our clean water. The negative reviewers think fighting for our rights is cliche . . . . wish it was.

I also think this movie is better than the reviews. It certainly kept my interest.

Mine too . . . empathy is difficult for some people. Either they can't feel it, or if they do-- it annoys them. Not a perfect film, but geez . . . I'm looking for overseas public health gigs today!! One.org!!!

BTW, I openly wanted to help Tor meet his end every time he appeared on the screen . . . but when he did his first scope sighting, I thought that the CIA/spook community might have it's own set of mores.

I hope it picks up steam as a DVD, I want more reality-themed thrillers. The pharm industry is due for several, Constant Gardner was a good start. And many of the mining industries should be targeted -- films like this are effective: diamonds are no longer a girl's best friend. Anti-GMO, etc. . . . Have you seen The Bank? A clever small Aussie film.

Naw, it's just that intelligent people feel a bit insulted when "the message" gets showed down their throats in such an over-the-top fashion. A good political film should be subtle, and at least slightly believable.
