People talking during the movie

I dislike when people do commentary throughout the WHOLE MOVIE. I mean we all laugh and say stuff to people we are with but when people purposely talk loud to be funny it get obnoxious. Did anyone else have to deal with that? Someone's mom/grandma was doing it the whole movie and wanted to tell her to shut up so bad. Lol

Clearly you made an account just to troll. Stormfront is ----> that way.

Went to see the film, in a non urban area on a Mon, after work and didn't have a problem hearing the film lol

This lady next to me was talking very loud to her daughter in front. It was so annoying. I was glad she got up and left and never came back, lol.

You are not lying. I went to see this yesterday earlier in the evening. A young couple particularly the girl was very talkative throughout just until it got to the tearjerking scene is when she stopped talking.

I don't have a problem with the talking part.I just hate when everyone laughs at the same time. When I went to see it the theatre was damn near full so you can only imagine.

What's almost worse than talking? These couple of ladies keep going "Mmm- hmm" every 3 minutes. Yes, very stereotypical.

in the last few movies i've attended with a predominately black audience, running commentary has not been a problem. people might make a funny comment here and there, and it actually works and lifts the mood of the theater. i don't think there is anything wrong with that. going to a movie is not like going to church where you have to be holy and silent. i think some people need to loosen up and stop stereotyping.

however in my theater of best man holiday, toward the end, there were a lot of "mm hmms" from older ladies. that was a little annoying but...they were elders so i just ignored it.

I so TOTALLY AGREE! I'm gonna say this and I personally don't care what you all think. But I purposely like to wait a good 4-5 weeks after a black movie has come out to see it specifically BECAUSE of this. I can't stand it when people talk in the movie. I waited to see this movie only this past weekend and there were only like a dozen of 'us' in there. But what you know there was a group of 5 people that came in and they talked throughout most of the movie. I was like really? And then you can't say anything cuz 'we' get attitudes! UGH!

I made the mistake and went to see "12 Years a Slave" the first weekend and regretted it so. People talked thru the whole f'in movie! I was like that was the last time I go see a black movie on the first weekend out the gate.
