Hell that beautiful movie deserves at least 7 !!

And rather 8..It's magnificent, moving poetry, and more. Can't understand the 20 people who voted here for it. They possibly haven't even seen it.

I agree. It deserves at least an 8. It's a beautifully written story told from both sides of the Israeli/Palestinian struggles. It brilliantly interweaves adolescent life with the harsh realities of daily life in the Middle East.

What I liked about it was that it didn't take sides but told the story from both perspectives. The two young leads were wonderful and you could sympathize with both.

I liked that the film emphasized how education could improve a young person's life no matter where he came from.

Very moving film!

Oh thank youuu for your answer :)) Totally agree with it. Film brought me close to shed a tear right at the end, and I haven't cried for six years ('m male).

I agree. I gave it an 8 as well. It was a nice movie. A pleasant surprise. I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did.

Oh my gosh yes, I just watched this on Netflix and it is such a good movie!!! I can't believe I've never heard of it before. This will be another movie I hound everyone to see after I've made them read Son of Hamas :)
