Ha-haaa...ridiculous.

Seriously, this strong chick crap is getting totally out of hand in Hollywood. This film hasn't aired yet, but after seeing the commercials for it a dozen times, I have to laugh at this little, 110 lb. waif trying to intimidate a bunch of tough cowboys and outlaws. She squints her eyes and lowers her voice to try to get that "I'm a tough chick, as tough as the boys" joke that our media tries to convince you is how it is/was.
Yeah, Hollywood; keep trying to convince gals they can be as tough as the boys. They can't. We're built completely different. As much as the gals try to be the best at anything (whether that includes physical, mental or any other strength), there will always be a guy better at it. Just accept it. Of course, I guess that's why Hollywood makes so many hard to believe films and topics, because it's not how it is, but they want it to be. Disagree? Of course you do...the truth hurts.

You must be new to western history.

Edited should work now. But a simple search for women in the west will do.

Abandon the search for Truth; settle for a good fantasy.

Bad link.

Dreadful movie, but a wonderful link... TVM!.. I've come across snippets of information in the past (mainly Calamity Jane, Belle Starr and Annie Oakley), but this is a little goldmine, and I shall enjoy educating myself further... The less said about this awful mess, however, the better...

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe...

The ridiculous part was when a guy would rather die than trade a bunch of horses.

McMurphy didn't want to "trade" anything. And how was the father to know he would be killed? He didn't know these men and didn't know how dangerous they were. Hello!?

Hate women much?

The problem with your thoughts is that people don't kill people, guns do. It doesn't matter who is holding the gun.
