Mixed feelings

I saw this yesterday in NYC and had very mixed feelings.

The Good - The director showed potential. He clearly knows where to put the camera, lots of great shots of NYC and Puerto Rico, nice special effects. From a technical standpoint the movie was above average.

The Bad - The story, script, and acting were all pretty bad. Extremely predictable and cliche, and amateurish.

I get what you mean about the clichés but then again, it's a light romantic comedy. You will not get a lot of the jokes unless you are puertorican. I'll disagree with the bad acting part, the mexican dude was funny as hell.

I loved "200 Cartas"! The story was wildly funny and original. The actors were excellent.
