Outstanding road movie

Saw it tonight on a Sky movies freebie. Really enjoyed it. The performances were all top class, particularly Tim Roth as the world-weary Roy. I find Roth has a tendency to over-emote (Pulp Fiction, for example) but here he was definitely immersed in the less-is-more school of thought. No-one seems to have picked up on the road movie aspect of it where the characters' journey across the north of England is a metaphor for their internal journeys.
This film has 'cult' written all over it - in a good way.

Trust me, this will never be a cult. In fact, it's not far off complete crap.
