the worst movie

1 Miss snow white is blonde
2 Got me very annoyed when the apple was replaced with a lovely ring and when the lovely prince came in tears as his beloved died :)) the lovely Eliza Bennett - snow white raised her lovely finger for her prince to remove the magic ring and to put his ring that he give her as a symbol of his great love :))) She did all that when she was dead =)))
3 People in the last act in the battle die but is obviosly that they are not dead
4 When she cuts the queen`s head at the end of this "great movie" the head of the doll is so visible that hurt my eyes
The acting is terrible and etc this is what really got me annoyed is not even worth watching a minute from it
Sorry for my bad english but my english is better than this movie 1 thousand times

Thank's for the heads up. I was going to see this but by the sounds of peoples reviews I think it's probably not worth it.

reply

I thought that it was pretty good, actually. It was creative. It had interesting concepts. And Snow White being blonde? Kind of horrible, but I think the actual actress made up for it.

reply

Don't know how Queen Gwendolyn had the cheek to ask the mirror who was the fairest in the land it obviously wasn't her; even the blond elf girl was prettier than her.

Wow that's a bit harsh. The poster did say their English was not good. Does that mean they're not entitled to an opinion of the film?

This is my signature and I'm sticking to it. lol

Harsh?

I didn't like the fact that Snow had blonde hair but the film wasn't as bad as I was led to believe. It was, after all, an Asylum Film and they don't have the resources of the mainstream studios. I didn't find it any worse than Twilight which had a vastly bigger budget and the main actress in Grimm's Snow White was a lot more talented (and prettier too). I wouldn't recommend this to anyone looking for Oscar winning performances but it entertained better than I expected.
Oh gravity, thou art a heartless bitch!

Indeed it is awful.

the worst movie

Seriously? You must not watch many movies if you think this is the "THE worst."

1. There are renditions of the story where Snow indeed has blonde hair (like an early 20th century block puzzle). There's also at least one other film rendition where she's a blonde. Does it really matter what color her hair is? The Brothers Grimm, who wrote the original story and published it in 1812, were from central Germany where there were/are plenty of females with blonde hair (there are naturally more blondes in the north of the country as opposed to the south, being closer to Scandinavia).

2. It is BASED on the Grimm fairy tale, but not a strict adaption. Thus the dwarves are elves. Personally, I think it's an interesting touch. The presence of little people (aka "midgets") in a fantasy movie like this usually makes for an amusing tone, but the creators were shooting for something more austere. And it worked.

3. I didn't notice. They were probably wounded and therefore weren't shown dead after the battle.

4. It was a quick flash of a decapitated head, which -- yes -- looked fake if dwelt upon, but The Asylum didn't have the funds for a more authentic-looking head, thus it was shown in a quick flash. And, really, who cares in a TV-budgeted flick? Snow White cut off the evil Queen's head and that's the point.

5. The acting was fine for a low-budget movie.
