this movies sums up what a useless guide to life the christian faith really is. they love to play martyr and put themselves through unnecessary suffering so they can show everyone what great people they are by showing forgiveness. The real end of the story is the wife carries on cheating because she knows he will keep on forgiving her until eventually he ends up a bitter and destroyed man . what a naive and downright false message to give anyone.

i hoped to see a more balanced view but all i learned from this is if you want to screw around marry a christian because they will let you.

The message is not intended to imply that "men" can be this forgiving..it is a parable of GOD's forgiveness even when we don't deserve it. Man, aside from God, cannot be forgiving but his spirit within us as Christians enables us to forgive and live a life that is certainly not described as "bitter" or "destroyed" but rather, with a "peace that passes any understanding".

God is fictional??? So, you've explored the entirety of the universe and know for a FACT that no God exists? Or is it just you don't believe in God? If that is the case you have a greater faith than most Christians.

Harsh man!! It's a great depiction of unconditional love. If you wish to learn more about the Christian faith, there is plenty of info out there. But if you're just trollin, you might wanna rethink the way you spend your time.
